Ep. 273: Ghostly Voices

Paranormal investigator and author Nicole Tito joins Tinfoil Tales to discuss decades of investigating some of the Midwest's most active haunted locations.

From Resurrection Cemetery outside Chicago to Indiana's historic jails and forgotten buildings, Nicole shares the experiences that have kept her searching for answers. We dive into the Estes Method, EVP research, haunted objects, hitchhiker phenomena, doppelgänger encounters, and why respect is one of the most important rules when investigating the unknown.

Nicole also shares a mysterious audio anomaly she has captured more than 30 times over the course of sixteen years—a strange "screech" recorded on multiple devices at completely different haunted locations that remains unexplained. Along the way, we discuss haunted locations throughout Indiana and Illinois, whether spirits can become attached to objects or people, the risks of provoking unknown entities, and why history should always come before sensationalism when exploring the paranormal.

Is the paranormal simply misunderstood... or are we hearing something that has been watching us all along?
