Ep. 267: Hearing the Voice of God: Awakening the Spirit

Spiritual teacher Michael Monk shares the moment he heard what he describes as the voice of God, and the decades of exploring consciousness and out of body experiences that followed.

What if consciousness extends far beyond the physical body?

In this thought-provoking episode, Brandon sits down with Michael Monk, a teacher of spirituality, metaphysics, and energy mastery, to discuss the life-changing experience that began with what he describes as hearing the voice of God. That moment set him on a decades-long journey exploring consciousness, out-of-body experiences, clairvoyance, meditation, and humanity's connection to a greater spiritual reality.

Michael shares his perspective on the relationship between religion and spirituality, explaining why he believes the two are not opposites but complementary paths toward understanding our true nature. He also discusses the concept of collective consciousness, energy fields, the Holy Spirit, astral travel, and why he believes every person has the ability to awaken dormant spiritual senses through practice.

Whether you approach these topics from a religious perspective, a metaphysical one, or with healthy skepticism, this conversation explores some of the biggest questions surrounding consciousness, reality, and what it truly means to be human.
